Hi all,

My GP '09 started making some 'squeaking' noises when turning the car. Two mechanics have seen it, and the issue hasn't yet been identified, and both of them suggested I ignore it unless it becomes worse as it's not worth disassembling and replacing parts until figuring out what it is.

They both checked the car and deemed there's no risk and I can keep driving safely.

What do you guys think?

Notice that it happens only whilst turning (towards the end of the video I drive straight too). Happens regardless of wet/dry conditions. Rate of noise is directly proportional to the revolutions of the wheel.

Thanks :)

Apparently there's a known fault with front right springs breaking, mine had about 4 inches of spring loose rattling about. Probably worth taking the wheel off and having a good look round before you start paying a mechanic.

Check wheel bearing and suspension.

And change garage. And don't listen to anyone telling you there is no risk blah blah...

Thanks both of you for your suggestions. Will try to sort it out asap. Will update here with the results once it's officially identified.
