Right I have just broken my 1.4 8v engine and have a replacement on the way once that's fitted the plan is to fix the old one and upgrade at the same time speaking to a few rally friends the discussion came up about what the max is for this engine without turbo so if I do build it into a rally car I would be in the low class which is fine. My question is what is their in the line of camshafts or other mods to at least get the engine up to 100hp ? Any advice links anything price atm isn't on the cards it's just what can be done and what have people done thanks in advance ?

Out of interest, are you actually planning to rally the grande? You'd be much better off buying a 205 or something with a bit of rally heritage that will be far more capable and a larger rally parts availability. Will work out easier, cheaper and quicker.

Would be looking at getting another shell and doing it yes looking at an lsd and quaff gearset I wanna rally the Grande cause not many folk do it here and body parts are readily available it's just engine parts that arnt their are a few corsa d cars coming into rallying now so would be interesting too see what happens would be fun and interesting too do I feel
