Hi all!

i have one small problem, everything was fine, and i thing or i hope everything is still fine but maybe i or my wife pressed some button and now back seat dors can not be opened from outside, but only from the inside!

If someone can share some information about this i would be very gratefull. Thank you very much!

The car has an auto lock feature that's stops all doors being opened from the outside (this disengages when press the button or open a door). The only other way I know off is Childs locks but I'm not sure if they are button based on some gps has mine is manual based via the door.


is it just the rear doors? The GP had a common issue with the rear door handles being stiff and really got to pull the handle I.e pull it up and then pull it up more. This usually gets the door to open. Mine has been like that since bought it

Well i heard about that problem, that its hard to open back dors, but looks like thats not the case. If i go use any more strenght at handle i will break it for sure. Even do the problem is with the back door only.
Is there maybe some tutorial how to use child lock

The child locks are the same has most cars. Open the door and you'll see a white plastic on the frame (where the door sticks out)/ turn that and it turns child lock on and off)

I figuret out how the child lock works. I can turn on/off one small plastic screw at the door with the key. Ofcourse if i do that i will not be able to open the door

So looks like one door are opening, little harder but.... and the other are probably broken, but nine year old car, i think i can live with this. I will try to fix this if its possible. I hope it will not cost too much.

If you go to the guides section, you'll find a guide on how to replace the rear handles (outside ones). Maybe worth a look as be able check the handles innards.

At the end of the day they are just crap handles, if you pull right at the back of the handle they work a bit better but they are made of shoddy plastic which just bends. There is a modified handle available but they only come in primer......
