Technical Fiat Punto Grande 08 - light issue now won't start

Hi, here's what the story is. Any advice much appreciated!

· Intermittent fault with the passenger-side rear lights (bulb sign coming up on dash &left indicator flicking rapidly)
· Then no rear passenger-side lights at all
· Cleaned up corroded connector to light unit
· Cleaned up corrosion around break bulb & replaced beak bulb. Note connector to break bulb is badly corroded
· All lights then working
· Next day car wouldn’t start, just made a clicking noise. Not sure if it’s linked to electrical issues or not?!
· Removed battery (seems to be original one) and charged it – but it wasn’t flat

Check the fuse for the starter motor (more than likely fine)

Check the starter motor wiring and from battery (including earths)

The battery maybe fully charged but what amps you getting? Have you tried jump starting the car to see if that works?
