Hi guys,

I've just bought a Grande Punto 1.4 16V Sporting and I have been reading through loads of forums about how to install an AUX input into the stock car stereo. However, it turns out that as my model is Blue&Me, I can't simply purchase a AUX cable into the CD changer port and play music that way. I have an iPhone and it would be great if I was able to play music through an AUX instead of having to burn music onto CDs as my phone isn't compatible with Blue&Me. (n)

So, to the question:

Is there any way that I can simply install an AUX input into the stock stereo in a Blue&Me car, without splitting the Blue&Me cable and playing silent MP3 tunes over top?

Thanks guys!

I have the same issue and put my music on a memory stick and used the sub port in the glove box, the only problem is the tracks don't skip by themselves you have to push the skip track button on the steering wheel

You can get the iPhone to play via blue & me but you will need the official adapter (around £60). Also I've read that if you have blue & me version 5.1 upwards you can just connect the iPhone to the unit but you can only have unprotected mp3 files (no iTunes aac or protected files on the device). I've not tried this has i use a usb in my car so never needed to try and connect my iPod to see if this works.

Easiest way without trying to do a aux would be, to get a non windows 8 usb drive and put all your mp3 files on this. 7dayshop's own usbs work just fine. Sandisk may not work due to they get recognized as a hard drive not removable drive (windows 8 standard).
