Hi guys, just wondered if anyone could help...

Basically I, like many others want to be able to play all my legally downloaded music in the car. I am aware that there is a USB slot in the glovebox however this doesn't seem to work. I have also been told that I am unable to get an aux cable as it won't be compatible.

Just wondered if anyone could help me as it's just one of them little things that keeps niggling away at me. My car is an 06 Grande Punto Multijet.. the steering wheel controls do not have a Windows button, but it should be noted that I can connect my phone to the car to make phonecalls. Instead of a windows button I have a button that has a similar image to a wi-fi connection.

In the glovebox there is only one USB port..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

P.S. I have tried formatting the memory stick to FAT32 and using MP3 only files.

I'm in the same boat!

I've also got an 06 Grande Punto, Two USB slots in the glove compartment. I've hooked my charger cable for my iPhone and it responds but doesn't seem to do anything only my phone shows 'do you trust this computer'

At this point I thought putting my music on a USB pen but still all I get is 'no media found'

Frustrating!

Fiats need an adapter to work with iPhones, iPods unless got later blue and me module :-(

What type usb you using? May sound daft but my GP (09) works with some but not all usbs an my dads 500l (13) is the same. Alot of usbs now are windows 8 compatible (shows had a hard drive not a removable drive). That may be an issue (not tried mine).

The usb port does it have a windows sticker by it? In some newer gps they had 2 ports (one with windows sticker that plays music) other is a servicing port for dealers

Philiams have you tried just putting mp3 files on your iphone. Cant have any protected music files just standard mp3. Apparently if got blue and me 5.4 and above this may work with the iphone/ipod without the adapter (so read on here)
