Yesss cheers mate, i now have power

Just need to now, fully fit it in the unit cos it only gets 3 quarters of the way in at the moment.

Also just had a play with Navigation, is there a way you can:
Set home
find a place using postcode

Re: Fiat grande punto sat nav GPS multimedia headunit

Yeah it's tight to get it all in so have fun with that haha. As for the sat nav I'm not sure on setting home but you can enter postcodes on either street name or town. And you do have to put a space in the postcode. If that makes sense.

I can't believe your having that much trouble with it pal. It took me no time at all. It is hard to get it flush I had to take it out about 3 times after taking it out to install a reverse cam.

Maybe, you could try taking the glove box off and pulling the cables through the back. I'm not saying this would work but it has on my previous car.

Re: Fiat grande punto sat nav GPS multimedia headunit

I give up,its nearly flush so that will do lol

I have a feeling it could be a trapped wire stopping from going all the way back but i cant get the device back out again to have a look haha

I will try that glove box idea like.

Cheers for ya help today mate, I got it almost flush, Bit of a protruding gap at the bottom and a few scratches where i was forcing it in with screwdriver but those are easily sorted and they are very light, but looks good overall. :-D I also realise car could do with a dust haha

Re: Fiat grande punto sat nav GPS multimedia headunit

So I'm thinking about buying the stuff to be able to display tv on the head unit. I've contacted the seller and he says he can see me a box for 50 with shipping that I connect to the unit.

I'm thinking there must be a cheaper way. Anyone have any ideas?

Oh I know he sells a analogue one that won't work. But he also sells a digital box, it needs to be wired into the cars electrics and then links to the head unit.

If I could find out the specs of it I'm sure I could find it cheaper :P
