Hi Guy,

I've just bought a new Grande Punto Dynamic and it's got a small handful of issues that I think can be can be low cost, effective fixes with the right advice!

If anyone has any advice or tips on how to fix the below issues, could you comment and let me know?

Rear Wheel Arch Scrap

Most of it is down past the primer and at least finger nail deep.
No cracks, dents or body damage though.

Door edge scrap
On both front doors, the edge paint is chipped off, past the primer and down to the metal in sections.
Any products that are known to be good for this that I can use at home?

Front left bumper dent and scratch
Not even sure what happened here! But there's a small circular dent in the middle and then primer deep scratches either side.
The middle dent has gone down to the metal work.

Body work scratches
The car has quite a few of these body work scratches that have gone down to the metal and are quite obvious because of that metal or black look.
Best scratch removal product? Best permanent paint cover?

Interior dirt seats
Unfortuantely, I went for a car with beige interior seats which, have no stains but do look pretty grubby.
Does anyone know any good cleaning products or methods to use on all the seats?

Small dent above the FIAT boot badge
No bigger than a fist. Small dent above the rear FIAT badge.
I know a few dent removal companies about who can do this but, does anyone know ways I get the bent out myself at home?

Bonnet Crack
Not too bigger problem if i'm honest but if anyone knows of anyways to get this fixed that would be very helpful!

Rear middle seatbelt case is broken/missing
Can I just buy a new one online and fit it at home?

That car has been abused. The previous owner must have knowingly opened that door against hundreds of obstacles (probably other people's cars, grr!).

In my opinion, that car needs proper money spending on it to bring it up to a decent standard. It sounds like you're not wanting to spend much on it so a pot of touch up paint it is.

You might consider tackling the bumper dent yourself will filler, paint and lacquer. The right wet and dry paper plus cutting compound make a big difference to the finished job in my experience.

That poor cars had a rough life by the sounds of things!

I mean, the seats could be cleaned with a carpet cleaner or something. We did that once, but lightly.

Boot dent you might be able to get behind and pop out, but Iwouldn't want to do that myself personally. But a touch up paint can might be your best and most cost effective bet.

Yeah its obviously been through the wars!
But, I do like it and it's low mileage so i'm prepared to work with it!

Going to try do the dent myself and as much of the paint work as possible however, I am going to have spend a few £££'s to get the full body finish that i'm after.

Depending on just how tough the dent behind the badge is, try a large plastic sucker with a keyring on the rear. Make sure it is a tight seal and pull like mad - Managed to pop out the majority of the dints some **** hit 'n run caused on my Dads car (Admittedly a Kia) with that method.
