Hi, on my 1.2 Fiat Grande Punto 2008 I have noticed that sometimes the milage on the screen will flash. Does this mean anything?

you need to perform a proxy alignment to solve this issue.


go to fiat and they will charge abour £75 +vat or if you have multi ecu scan and the correct cables you can do it yourself

Okay thank you, what does that mean by the way and what caused it to happen?

also it is bad if I don't have it done for a while?

Also today when i was driving it was not flashing it only did it yesterday.

it wont do you any harm driving with it but it may bug you :')


it can be allot of things the main one being somebodys changed the instrument panel, possibly to show the car with less miles.. but it can be many other causes.

Okay thanks, it has stopped flashing now, should I just leave it or take it to my local Fiat dealer?

Could be poor battery mines the same but stopped after new battery fitted

Something with the same rating I think it was around 55ah and 400cca

I thought it flashed if it didn't complete its "checks" before you moved the vehicle.
