Hello everyone,
I'm from Iceland and I'm new to this forum. I owned a 2006 Fiat Punto 1.3 Multijet diesel- Left hand drive. Last two days, when I'm on my way home, the front wiper of my car were stuck-up at the middle due to heavy wind and rains. Yesterday, I take out the motor and I noticed that the plastic gear in the motor was worn out (see picture below). I try to search if I can replace only the plastic gear because the complete set in my dealer is so expensive, but unfortunately its not possible. I found a used one (motor and linkaged) in Ebay but they said, it is from a Right Hand Drive Fiat grand punto. I check the part number, is the same . Now my question is:
1.) Can I install the wiper motor and linkaged from Right hand drive fiat punto to my Left hand drive Fiat grande punto?
Hope someone can share their expertise and experience regarding my concern.
