Hi guys,

I realised today that some gives a low creaking sound. I hear it most when I'm driving slowly, in a straight line, probably because there's less engine noise. I also hear it when I'm stationary and turning the wheel

I tried to listen to see if I can hear it from the outside but I didn't hear anything. I wobbled the car to see if the suspensions made a sound and they didn't make any sounds either.

What could it be? I don't want my car dying on me just yet

If it's making the noise while stationary and turning the wheel that sounds like suspension top mounts to me, very common.

To confirm, get someone to turn the wheel slowly while your hand is on a front spring and feel if it twangs or catches when turning the wheel then try the other spring.

Obviously be careful where you put your hand when they're turning the wheel.

Either suspension top mounts if it's just from turning or drop links/ARB if uneven road but straight

Cheers guys I will check these out when I can. Are these important to get fixed asap or can they wait without causing any more damage?
