TBH Id leave it till it starts blowing unless you would feel better if it was new.its allways going to corrode.nature of the beast im afraid unless you pay for a stainless steel one.
FYI I had a custom made cat back exhaust made for my 2turbo Vectra,7 years ago. Still going strong and looking good and was cheaper than replacing the two rear boxes.
Prices are going to vary depending on where you go,make used and warrenty. I tend to phone round and compare.It is a diy job if you can be bothered.

As above but depends how long you will be keeping this car. You could well find that getting a stainless steel one made up and fitted is just a little more expensive and you should get a lifetime guarantee (for you) on it. Hence if you expect to keep the car more than say 2/3 years then get it done and forget about it. If you do not expect to keep it that long just get a mild steel one but defo phone and shop around.

There's an advisory on the MOT that it is blowing however I cannot hear it, It's been like that since i got the car so about 18 months.
I don't want anything fancy, just a standard replacement.
Something like this for £33 then I know somebody that will fit it.

there appears to be soot on the seam in the first picture...negligible tho. BUT it is going to corrode further and get worse.
