hello friends ..i have a dualogic (grande punto 1.4 07) had a error (gear selecter mem) ?? car crunches bad when engaging gear into reverse & then goes into neutral ..car is in garage at the moment (as car was stuck in neutral & could not select any gear) any ideas ?? many thanks
 
Hi,
it's a manual gearbox driven by electronics/actuators,
similar to the Alfa selepeed system,
don't know what kind of garage it's at, but beware of them changing the expensive parts without PROPER diagnosis..,
the garage under the arches - near the Bullring is recommended -ask for details,

thanks for you reply ..yes it is a semi auto dualogic (it's at WAD wolverhampton) independent fiat afla specialist (they got all the main dealer gizmos etc) car drives fine for about a hour then can't engage reverse ..and when you do engage reverse puts it in permanent neutral ??? it's so annoying i've had enough
