Got a blow in the flexi on the 1.2 8v GP.
I've read around and I understand that from the factory it's a one piece exhaust.
I'm pretty handy with a grinder so I'm not scared about cutting the existing one out.

Trying to be certain how the above would work. Obviously need to carefully measure existing one - how do I measure internal diameter of the tube? Outside diameter is easy!
Cut the existing one out leaving as much tube as possible. New one... does the new part fit inside the old exhaust tube or over the outside of it?
How do the clamps work; do they just go around the outside of the join and squeeze the two tubes together inside of each other?
If I bought this instead: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/F...35f03ae022c1be23ed543e269d14dba0fe143b&000465 would it make the job loads easier?
If I got scared of this job, how much should I expect to pay to get it fixed?
Thanks guys
James
