Recently purchased a Fiat Grande Punto 1.9MJet.. Love the car its excellent!


BUT...I've only had the car a week today and noticed the blue and me controls just don't work? And the Mileage is flashing? I've tried plugging in USB's etc to no success...


I've read posts about this and I've tried disconnecting the battery for a length of 10mins - 30mins and over night.....


Still no joy...I've got a years warranty with the car from the dealership..


is this a fix for them? or can I do it myself?

It may need proxy aligining. Fiat dealers can do this or if your dealer is independent they may no of a garage with the software to do this.

Arnold clark fiat dealership? Surley they'll be able to sort something like this yeah? I'll go on my lunch break its only over the road

Yep, arnold clarke should be able to do it. Failing that i'm sure they will know of a place that can do it

Just took it to the dealer (Arnold Clark)


There doing the proxy alignment now, Hopefully this fixes the Blue & me issues!


From what I've been reading this is the case but, I'll let you know the outcome once I've herd back.

If there is any charge take the bill back to the garage you bought it from and get them to reimburse you or did you buy from Arnold Clarks. Bit like someone selling a mobile phone and the 3 button doesn't work....hardly fit for purpose but you will only find out when you want to use the 3 button.

Update to my situation here,


Proxy alignment is all sorted (Arnold Clark Fixed Free of charge), I've managed to get the Blue & Me to read my memory stick (Playing music)


But...Another problem When I press the Windows and Phone button.


I get a message - No English...


So I downloaded the language pack from the Blue & Me website, Installed it and it reverted back to the flashing mileage etc and Blue & me Completely not working


But I've managed to get it back to playing music from my stick (Used the Battery Trick and it worked)


I'm just now stuck with this Language thing? Should I take it back to the garage to get them to sort or is there a fix for this I can do myself?


Is it worth trying to update Blue & Me before I try update a language pack?

This is really odd, i have heard of the problem before, sometimes it seems to get stuck on italian but i've never seen the flashing milegae problem come back becuase of this

I cant see any harm in updating blue and me, its worth a shot!

the Update didn't work? Now I am stumped.... I'm going to try a previous version update if there is one?


Then update it further then try the language pack if it's still required...


Right after my KFC.....

Okay, That didn't work i'm getting Error 10 now..


but and it's still saying no English but the mileage hasn't started flashing again?


Any ideas?

Don't shout at me! I forgot to format the stick to fat32....

Okay, I Have a working Memory stick port (No control over it though) I'm still getting no English ive tried two diffrenet memory sticks both suitable for the job! Now I really am stumped

If what you paid the dealer for is to get the blue and me working etc then take it back and tell them it's still not working properly. And get them to fix it properly, though I'd probably not mention how much you've been messing about with it

^^ That's what I'd do.....get it back to a known status. Ie Reset by the dealer and then take it from there.

I never use my windows button. The only thing I'm aware of it doing is voice control? Voice control doesn't work and it can't even import phone book. Is this something to do with an iPhone?
