Hey everyone!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the clutch/bite on a Grande Punto 1.4L sporting? My bite is really close to the floor and so if the clutch isn't 100% pushed in to the floor I'll crunch specifically 3rd gear and almost always reverse!?

Any help on how to at least have a little look at how to adjust the clutch would be really helpful!

Louis :^D!

You cannot adjust the clutch bite point.

You HAVE to push the pedal all the way. This is normal.

Is the pedal stiff or very soft ?
(how long do you have the car?)

You would have to push the pedal the whole way, where is the biting point.

I believe the clutch is hydraulic, so if the biting point is low to the floor, then it may need bleeding.
However, if bleeding doesn't cure it, then you could have a weak master or slave cylinder or worse still a lazy pressure plate in which case, it's new clutch time.
