Hi, I took my 09 1.4 dual logic punto in for flashing mileage to my local dealer yesterday. They tested the battery which is fine and did a proximity alignment on the car. Now today its still flashing on media player? It started when I updated the blue&me on the car when I got it few months back. It didn't update properly. Take it I have get a new module or is it simpler fix? Kind regards, neil

As long as the B&M module is not working properly the mileage will flash.
Two options. Replace the B&M module. Might find a good used one, or a new one will be expensive. This seems to be a problem when they don't update properly. If working ok, don't update.
Second option is to disable the B&M. This is done during a proxy alignment. Once disabled, the system then ignores it, so the mileage stops flashing. Shame the dealer didn't offer this.

A proxy alignment can be done with a registered version of MultiECUScan. Update your profile to show your location, there might be someone nearby willing to do this for you. Or go back to the dealer and ask them to do it again, free.

Thanks. I got multi ECU but to many modules removed hence why taking it in. Rang them up an said they'll look again. May end up just ignoring it has only does it every so often. I like my media player so prob ignore it hence no other issues. Only tried update to use iPod touch which ended up getting a USB instead.
