I have a 2007 Fiat Punto Active 1.2, and i'm just wondering if I could have 18" alloys on my car and what tyre profile I would have to use?

I wouldn't bother with 18s. The ride would be **** and if the roads by you are anything like Bristol you'll get through tyres on a monthly basis. Get a set of sporting alloys and it will make your car look a little smarter and IIRC should be a straight swap.
