Hi, i'm pretty much new to cars, i was looking under the bonnet earlier and noticed my engine coolant level was very low, i bought the car second hand, i dont know what coolant they've used, is it okay to top up with any engine coolant? it says 'paraflu' on the compartment holding the coolant, it is a pink colour.

top it up with what? any engine coolant?? i don't want to mix up engine coolants

For now, any OAT coolant will mix OK.

When cold, top up to a known level, put a pencil mark on if necessary.
Run until warm and bleed the system. Not certain for Grande, but likely to be one in the top of the rad, and another in the heater hose near the bulkhead. Need a steady stream from each, no bubbles.

Allow to cool and check level, top up, or remark with your pencil.

Run it for a day, allow to cool and recheck the level. If it it going down, you need to find the leak. Most likely is water pump, needing cambelt change. Get it sorted before winter. And before winter change the coolant to be sure correct strength, before the cold weather.
