Hi. So my tailgate on my 58 gp isnt opening or sometimes it does sometimes it dosnt. Rarrher annoying getting things out from the side. Anyway ive read its a known issue with water on connectors. Now, im not tech savvy when it comes to cars so id like to know where to go to get fixed and how much it will (or should) roughly cost? Any experiances with this guys? Also.. Its my first ever car and ive had it little over a week. So far... Loving it!!! Cheers guys!

Update: SORTED. Before going out to buy a new lock or whatever. Try what ive just done. Open the rear seats so they fold down. Open it from within with your finger (play around with your finger till you hit that sweet spot) (lol) and pop open. Then get wd40 n drech that lock. While spraying flip the lock with finger so it realy gets into it. While there i did the bonnet too just incase. Close and open the boot a few times with fob to work it in. Sortted!!! Il update after a few days.

If you do need to change it they cost £31 from a fiat dealer and take ten mins to fit.
