I have an 07 GP 1.3 Multijet. 2 months back, had new pads & discs fitted, nearside ARB balljoint, and replaced bush on lower gearbox/engine mounting.

It has just started making a pulsing, vibrating noise under hard braking - seems to come from the front - worse going downhill. Noise is proportional to speed - no vibration through steering wheel, or brake pedal.

There also seems to be some noise/vibration over bumps - which I would have said was drop-links, but I changed these 12 months back (supposed to be genuine Fiat parts - maybe they were made of cheese).

Any thoughts on what might be causing this - or how I can narrow it down? Could the drop links need changing again after only 12 months - the roads are terrible round here.

Make sure the pads have bedded in properly, and droplinks can go at anytime , I'm every 4 months roughly with mine
