2) Car has 11 months test on it with no advisories, however there is a slight knocking/rumble over bumps on the drivers side a quick search its looking like top mount or droplink, any thing i can do to check which it is?

3) can anyone confirm what name for colour code 163/B is car says rosso malizioso met but looking for a touch up pen it comes up as rosso guttoso was it just a name change from fiat?

First of all welcome.
Hope I can help with some of your questions.
1. Have a look at the guides here: https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto-guides/index2.html
2. Pollen/cabin filter can be fitted even if not originally there. A bit of a pain first time around (there's instructions in the guide). Definitely worth doing IMHO.
3. Parts can be had from Eurocarparts/GSF or Carparts4less. For original stuff try http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/ If I remember right there's a discount code for paid up members
4. Droplinks are cheap and easy. Just replace them, that'll cost about 10 pounds per side
