Has anyone actually managed to repair the brake wear sensor wire. My one has broken quite close to the part that it connects into on the wheel. It looks like a single core wire and nothing complicated and I was hoping I could just use a connector to bridge the gap between the two pieces.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I wouldn't bother. The fiat brake pad wear sensors are useless since they are only on one pad and not all four. Besides, you can keep an eye on the pad wear easily enough and they are designed to screech like anything when they get low enough.

Did wonder why only one brake pad had a sensor!!

I just cut mine off lol
Brake discs and pads on front changed in 1 hour. All bolts reasonable easy to undo. Air filter changed. Only have oil and oil filter to do on Saturday and that's it all done for another year. Will not bother changing spark plugs as put long life ones in this time last year and will not change cabin filter as don't have air con and when I went to replace it last year there wasn't actually one in the car.
