Hello all,

Like many of you, I had a stone-chipped front lower grille and struggled to get it out. Therefore, I decided to respray it in situe.

I used:
- Duct tape
- Old newspaper
- Old bed sheet
- Grey primer spray
- Satin black spray

Both sprays I got from Halfords.

This is how I did it:
- Attach old newspaper all the way round the grille, with a 2-3mm gap between the grille and the bodywork.
- Then, go over the top of that sliding the duct tape under the grille edges so that it's completely covering the bodywork.
- Lay a bed sheet over the bonnet to stop any over-spray, tuck it under the wipers, you can also use this to cover the wings.
- Once all is sealed and covered, spray a coat of primer, go and have a beer.
- Upon return, spray the top coat of your desired colour, in my case it was back to the standard black.
- Leave to thoroughly dry, be patient, then peel away the newspaper.

Post to here and let me know results!
