The top rear tail light has isnt working on my car and has been like this since i got it.

Ive checked to see if it was the tail light what was the problem so i could just buy a replacement .. but its not

There is a orange wire with a black strip leading into the light cluster and we believe this is the problem as there is no resistance when we put a meter on it to check. However, the black wire (which is next to it) is working fine and gives resistance.

Does anyone have a circuit diagram of a Grande Punto so we colud trace this wire back or even better, know where this wire leads as we have look everywhere !

Regards, Joe

What's the exact problem with the taillights. The black wire is the earth.

Its only the tail light on the top back of the car which is not working.

Its because the Orange wire with a Black stripe down it is for some reason, broken. But we dont know where this problem could be !

We have checked for and cuts in the wire in open areas but its looking like we may need to replace it.

This is why i am asking for a circuit diagram, so we can trace the wire to its original position so i can also remove the Error message on my dash. :)

I found the window washer pipe and the rear heated window cable, completely sliced through here.

Like i said before, we have checked in all possible locations for splicing and under all of the gaiters. Splicing isnt the problem unless its weirdly happened somewhere un-accessible.

This is why i am asking if anyone knows of a wiring/Circuit diagram so i could just feed a new wire through to the original connector and get rid of the bloody error on my dash ha !

Andy: You think its supply is from the body computer ? Where abouts is this ? :)
