That's a very nice colour you got! one of the more unusual colours, very nice with the black alloys
Thanks. Yeah people have said it's a rarer colour.

Interior vinyl wrap done. Was a bastard to do and it's not perfect.

THAT LOOKS MINT MATE! How did you go about doing it? did you take it off first? how hard was it to do?
lol cheers man.. There was no way I was going to take my dash apart and find out it's a bastard to put back together or run into problems to I did it without taking it apart.
This was the most stressful difficult mod I think lol. But if you plan every cut you make before you make it then you'll get into a rhythm. Make sure you use a hair dryer when you do it, I didn't and it looked crap but I got a hair dryer on it and smoothed it out and it looks decent. Also it makes it stick better.
It is a worth while thing to do and I can't stop admiring it but be prepared to swear and punch the dash a few times.

I tried it once with some carbon wrap and it wouldn't stick at all so I gave up, saw it would be easier to take it off a do it but now I've got to decide the right colour!
Yeah this is red carbon wrap £5 off eBay.. As long as the surface isn't textured it'll stick really well especially heated

mine isn't textured it's sort of spongey brown colour it's horrible!!!
Hmm it should stick then really.. Did you heat it?

I didn't I had an impatient rookie moment wish I had stuck to it now
That's why I didn't heat it in the first place. I was underestimating the job and thought it'd be easy.. It is NOT.
If you stick it over everything cold then blast it with a hair dryer it'll form itself around all buttons and lines and it'll be so much easier to see where to cut

did you do the main part in one massive sheet? or is it 2 together?
It's more like 4 LOL you could probably do it in 2 but it's so much harder doing curves when it's not heated

Can you see the joins? That's one thing I was worried about, I was debating plasti dipping it or getting it done by a professional but it's dead expensive
Surprisingly no.. If the light hits it in a certain way you can and because you did it you will always see any mistakes you make but I thought I did a shoddy job and it looks decent. Doing the steering wheel bits really set it off I think

Ah right, not too bad then, and yeah I agree I do like the steering wheel bits, very nice!
I have seen on eBay a plasti-spray you can get if your planning on removing it to do it or if you want to do a lot of masking. That's another way but I don't know what it's like

Yeah I wasn't keep on doing it, it was just another option, I suppose it would scratch and peel off though
Just go with the carbon stuff off eBay for a fiver is the best bet. Do it. Stick with it and post some pictures
