Tuning K&N INDUCTION KIT 57i

Regarding resale in the future won't the new potential buyer surely pick up on holes in my airbox? Also surely this has a potential to fail an MOT?
But please do post a picture so i can see the size of the holes :)

You'll have to excuse my complete lack of knowledge here but whats a GSR do? I've managed to come across BMC air filters now?

I'm also under the presumption all these extra's will effect my insurance..

Yes that's true about the resale, up to you however, I've accepted that no one will want to buy my car so I'll either keep it forever or scrap it when I get something new haha.

I'll get a pic when I can, any size hole would do it literally doesn't matter haha, and no it wouldn't fail an mot at all even if you don't know the testers like some of us ;)

A gsr is a fill induction kit, it's the best kit for grande puntos and some other cars, used to be made by someone called Peter but he's disappeared, a website called torque7 has started making them once again, they're the only induction kit that won't actually take power away from you

Panel filter or the cone ain't really worth it. Look for an equivalent panel filter that would be much cheaper. At the end of the day it's 1.4 8v you could chuck £3000 at the engine and struggle to get much more than 100Bhp...

Save the money build up your money (and your NCB) and buy a more purposeful car once you've got some experience, then laugh at all the mugs with cars on finance :p.

Ahh you'll definitely be able to sell on a GP with ease!

I've been scrolling through the internet for the past day or-so & managed to find this video:

It does make a pretty impressive sound but I'm struggling to find where to buy one!

Lets say I'm purely trying to change the sound of my car rather than up the BHP, what would you recommend then?

It's only a first car anyhow i wouldn't splash out a-lot on it mainly because you save your savings for your second / third car i just wanted a decent good looking first car.

I already have the pleasure of driving around looking at all the cars mummy and daddy bought there children.
I like to work for what i own, that way you can respect it and understand the true value of it as well as appreciating it.

There's a website called torque7 that sells them but as of now they only make like 4 kits, all the rest keep getting delayed, best bet is to be lucky and see one for 2nd hand

no disrespect but I personally wouldn't say these are the best end of!

Each to their own I guess I pursued a GSR for well over 6 months and still never got one!

1a): Drill holes in the airbox
b): Drill holes in the back box
c): Disconnect the centre section of the exhaust
d): Download Ferrari 458 Italia soundtrack and play it at full volume with windows down

2): It is in standard guise a decent, good looking car.

3): And you want them to be looking at your laughing stock of a car with a K&N57i cone filter on it?

4): Can't think of a sarcastic comment. But I do agree on that point.
