Hi Guys
Currently i have a 06 GP 1.9 Mjet which has been remapped, has Straight pipes and and K&N panel filter (At least we think its K&N ). Since I got the car last year Nov (and I'm guessing the previous owner had this as well), there has been basically a Dump valve\Blow off valve noise when lifting off the throttle and changing gear. recently we found out that this is due to compressor surge which is causing the air in the intake to equalize to the atmospheric air pressure outside.
I just want to know how big an issue this actually is and whether i should invest in a diesel dump valve from Turbosmart.
Thanks
