your not going to belive this but ...... its alive!!!!
all i done was turn ignition on with it in neutral and put it in gear (without engine running) then turned it all off turned it back on (in neutral with engine on) put it in gear, turned it off then turned it on in gear it beeped so put it in neutral (engine on) and then in gear and it poped up AUTO on screen, put it in and out of auto and enigine on and off 1000 times and all seem to be working,
one other thing ive just remembered is i had the battery off for a few hours and when i put it back on the milage was flashing ave read before its something to do with alighnment? something like that, well anyway just before the gears "fixed its self i noticed the milage stopped flashing***

do you guys think it was something to do with software messing up the gears?

anyway if it happens again i will let you all know,

Ive just pissed myself all the way through this thread, you are funny, did kicking work

If the flashing mileage has stopped I wouldn't worry about. It's just means the car ideally requires a proxi alignment if it does continue.

i do belive kicking it did help or it could of been the shouting at it.
i dont think the telling the car im going to swap it for a toyota helped! it just laughed at me.
