Hi, i got a Fiat GP 1.3 Multijet, im the 3rd owner.
I have a problem from the time I bought it. When accelerated hard over 2800rpm, the check engine lights comes ON and the car goes in LIMP mode. The code stored is P0237.
if I accelerate slowly, I can go up to 3500 rpm, but there is no way to go from there without going into safe mode, no matter how slowly I accelerate.
I replaced the MAP sensor, cleaned the MAF, checked the vacumm hoses, and the VNT actuator and seems free, i really dont know where is the problem, i need help please

I think that code relates to boost pressure sensor, which would probably tally up with the fault your describing.

I had to clean my sensor not so long back, but yours could be dirty or could be faulty

Already replaced the map, no change.

here is a graph taken with Multiecuscan, the EGR at least seems working.

Someone with this fault code have fixed the issue, im tired of searching the entire internet, cant find any solution.

I also was looking for a solution to this problem, I was on the dual carriage way on my way to work and noticed that the car was going through a regeneration which usually takes about 10 to 15 mins and all of a sudden the cycle stopped and the engine management light came on, after finishing work the next day, I plugged in my code reader which showed P0237 ''boost pressure sensor...etc'', I then removed and cleaned the sensor, reset the code, took it for a drive, as soon as I passed 2400 rpm, same thing happened, and engine management light came back on, I took it to a local mechanic and in my case it was the vacuum pipe that goes into the turbo, it has a tiny little split in it which I could not see, they since have replaced it and solved the problem.
