I need a little advice hope you can help J
I have just bought myself a 06 Plate Grand Punto but it has only come with 1 key L
Can anyone glide me in the right direction to get a spear / replacement key?

I was googling same thing myself just a minute ago.

From what I've read it looks like ordering a replacement from fiat is the way forward at a cost of about £200 ?

Usually they are coded to the car.
So requires specialist equipment.

I did one on a focus recently, and whilst i could reprogram the plip, i couldn't program the chip. Which meant i could open the doors, but the car wouldn't start.
I did read somewhere, that some locksmiths have the software to program the chip, which may be a cheaper option than the dealers.

Not sure on the Fiat though.

I've also heard of people having the ecu reprogrammed to bypass the immobilizer, but then this would no doubt invalidate your insurance if it got nicked.

Fiat Main dealer. About £140 for none remote key and £200 for a remote one.

I got a replacement key from a locksmiths in north west area took them like 10 minutes and worked fine cost me £50
