I have an 09 Grande GP - On the bottom of the dash where the heater controls are it seems one of the background lighting bulbs has gone (nearside) The driver side is still lit - My question is how do I replace the offending bulb? It does seem underneath I can feel a panel which may or may not come off? Any ideas boys & girls?

Thanks :D

I believe that it would all start with taking your headunit out mate and removing the bolts behind to get to the heater control panel. In terms of replacing the bulb I am not too sure mate. But to get to it you will need to remove your head unit first.

Regards
Stephen

I did mine yesterday, you need to remove the radio first then locate the 4 torx screws holding the cage in, take those out. Then remove the two torx screws holding the heater control panel. Now be careful with the next bit, slowly unclip the front panel from the housing. It comes off fairly easy, then you see the bulbs (2 x 286 bulbs) remove the single screw holding the clear plastic illumination track and voila! Swap the bulb/bulbs and refit! Remembering to check illumination

Oh mate, apparently you can go in through the passenger footwell.
I've got the bulbs, they've been sat in my glove box for ages lol!

Might have another crack at it soon though.

You're not randomly in the Hertfordshire area are you? Lol
I'll buy you a cuppa and some biscuits lol!!!! :slayer:

Thanks very much for those replies! - I'll have a go at it on the weekend! I'll change both bulbs while I'm at it - Again thanks! :)
