there is a high risk of you actually breaking your clocks whilst your taking them apart/re-assembleing as you have to pull the needles on and off continuously to make sure they are lined up correctly.. not to mention the continous trips to the car to check the LEDS are installed the correct way (you cant really get this wrong but it does happen..)

however it is definatly worth the hour or two getting high on solder fumes, here was my result...
