Me and a mate and mate have aquired a nice GPS 1.4 16v. Making it into a nice track car. Just struggling to find a cam kit for the 1.4 16v starjet or any decent performance upgrades for that matter. ITB's if I can


Looking to lose as much weight as possible so few unnecessary parts are for sale. Need any sporting parts/upgrades feel free to inbox.

17" 15 spoke alloys
Most interior parts
Spoiler (as fitting s2000 rep)
Side skirts
Etc

Will post pics when interior is out and cage goes in :D
 
The weight shedding has begun! Offical figure standard is 1155kg. Would love to what its kerb weight is after its finished

All the seats are out & they weigh an absolute tonne

Inspiration for this build are the Grande Punto Cup cars

 
Any reason why you went for the starjet and not the t-jet for a trackday car. Being the starjet is a none turbo sporting 90bhp, and the t-jet is the turbo sporting at 120bhp...

Nice project though, eager to see how this goes. Keep the progress in one thread too, i'm subbed!

Are you sure? That's the weight of the t-jet, surely the starjet is slightly lighter? It has smaller brakes and no turbo for a start.

Car came at right time at the right price basically. So looking at stripping it completely bare and adding mods later in the pipeline.:)
 
Can I have a couple of small parts if you'll be getting rid... The pegs for the roof lining and the black rubber screwe cover for the third brake light on the tailgate...
