Maybe just got a little bit too excited at the 3rd car on the list for the latest Gran Turismo game

Hmm wonder if they are still going to be recycling car models from the ps2 for the majority of the list, (panda coupe, mk2 punto hgt e.t.c.).

Well the normal version is the best one lol possibly couldnt afford to add it to the game pmsl

I don't know what others think but the car lists on these games are never really great...

Don't know if I'll be buy it, felt the last one was a let down tbh. Maybe if they make all the cars look good rather than just a quarter of them. Glad to see some new abarths on the list

Yeh, I know what you mean I also felt it was a let down! I will still buy the new one as I am massive gran turismo fan

More of a forza fan myself. Never really got into gran turisimo

I too am a fan, but I was expecting something more after the ridiculous amount of development time. To release it with half arsed car graphics and a layout virtually identical to the old games was disappointing. I have hopes that 6 will fix what was wrong with 5. I also hope they will inject some fun into the franchise, like with mini games and other stupid stuff, it just feels so serious all the time, which is great if you want the real feel of cars, but can get tedious. For me anyway.

Another thing I am disappointed with is the lack of fiat's :thumbdown:

I agree with this one Forza FTW! Four has a Punto Evo Active Sport, a 2.0 20V Turbo coupe and a 131 Abarth

If they brought out a Forza franchise for the PC I'd snap it up in a heartbeat

Yeah I always drive the Evo on forza and the mito. I love how they have the c4 coupe as well which is a car I very nearly bought instead of my punto. But no game I can find has a normal fiat grande!!!!!

Also are you sure it's an active sport on forza. Sorry to sound picky but I think it's more than likely a sporting/lounge judging by the fact the model they use has a skydome and side mouldings which I didn't think would be options on active sport (I might be wrong though! Like I said I'm just being picky )

Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3, 4 then switched to forza 3 and finally 4. Forza took over from Gran Turismo IMO

Love my 131 Abarth with the Alitalia livery

Can be bought in white, red or black, so I found the closest match to my 599/A from an in-game Alfa 147. Unfortunately painting it blue appears to have painted the dash blue too, but even with the nasty new dash I'm sure you can appreciate the insane detail!

I've never played Gran Turismo or anything similar of late, but I'm assuming that it's some sort of racing game. In which case, why do the likes of the 1500cc Triumph Spitfire or a 1200 Beetle appear in the list?

I think one of the reasons I don't play them is because of an incident in (probably) the early '90s. I was a Driving Instructor with BSM and were in a pub having a drink for another instructor's birthday when one of my pupils walked in. We had a chat and he asked if I wanted to have a go on the Sega Rally game.

Well, I couldn't let some stripling of a callow youth upstage me, so I rose to the occasion, carefully selecting the Lancia Delta Integrale leaving my unlucky opponent to take the Toyota.

After he'd humiliated me I vowed, in a fit of pique, never to play the stupid game again. It was especially galling as I'd gone on a rally driving day in the aforementioned Integrale with tuition from Pentti Airikkala, yet a spotty youth with a Provisional Licence managed to show me up.

Stupid game. :doh:
