Technical Triangle warning light on dash!

Hi all,

Just another niggle im having with my GP at the moment...

Whenever i turn my lights on, i get the orange triangle with and exclamation mark in the middle come up on my dash, this sometimes stays until i turn the car off and sometimes just goes off. I also get a notice coming up on the dash saying "check running lights"

My lights are working perfectly fine with this notice up!

Now iv looked in my handbook and it says "Engine oil pressure
sensor failure The warning light comes on when the engine
oil pressure sensor is faulty. Contact Fiat Dealership as soon as possible."

when the car is running without the lights on this warning light does not come on!

I just want to make sure its not something simple like a loose connection before i go to the dealership with it.

DRL's or sidelights are refered to the running lights, it'll be these you need to check.

You've not fitted LED units have you?

Just turned the lights on, no warning light came up this time, checked every bulb including sidelights, reg lights, main beam etc. All working fine.

when i next get the warning light up il have to go round the car and check every bulb!

This one caught me out for a while, check all 6 bulbs in the rear light clusters (three each side). Both bulbs in the middle had gone and I didn't realise

Really? Nice! I was so sure it wasn't going to be that but thought I would throw it out there just in case
