Hi all, I have a 56 plate 1.4 grande punto and I've bought a sony radio for it and got the iso adapter PC2-32-4 for it, now I have fitted it and got power but it doesn't turn off with the ignition and I'm not sure which cable should be to the remote to switch it off with the ignition? Help/advice please!!!

you need to wire it into an ignition live mate if you are not ofay with electrical wiring you may wish to take it somewhere mate where and have them connect it to the ignition live for you which is what is need here. Which is the safest really IMHO :D.

Make sure you turn it off manually mate or it may drain your battery.

Regards
Stephen

So could I wire it to the cigarette lighter like I've seen on many posts?:)

Yess I would advise this as even tho ignition live only powers once ignition is turnt over there is still a small 0.5amp drain on an after market head unit over nights this can cause the cells in batterie to break down as they are not holding a charge I had this problem and once fixing to the cigaret lighter I had no problem, I would feed it down drivers side from the back of head unit but if need more description im more than happy to help ?

Can anyone give me some steps what to do with wiring my remote into the cigarette lighter?:)
