Hi all , my windscreen mists up but weirdly on the side iam on , I put the air conditioning on and it clears but a few minutes later it mists again , is it a case of matching the temp in the car to the outside to stop this or just keep using the air conditioning ???

Hi , yes I agree as I've had to use my air con as my windscreen seems to mist up especially in the wet and mild weather . I suppose it doesn't help when you have got in the car with wet clothes on :/

This, and when youre warm or just had a shower and jump in the car and its cold outside.
Dont switch the air con off as soon as it clears, it just comes straight back, leave it on for 5 or 10 mins.

Use your air con. Its more useful in winter than summer. The only time mine is switched off is when I have the roof down. The difference it makes to economy and power is so small as not to worry about considering the benefits.

A clean screen helps as water droplets form around tiny dirt particles. Once you have cleaned it don't touch it, none of this wiping it to see out rubbish.

Then as said above, air con until its clear plus another five minutes to remove moisture from the cabin air and to give the engine a chance to heat up.

This. And if your wife continues to wipe the bloody screen after years of telling her not to, smash her face in.

Great! Just this morning I caused £7,500 worth of damage to my GP when the door didn't close properly when I was in a rush because it was a) raining and b) I was carrying bags.

Is it possible to cause £7500 worth of damage to any gp these days?
