Posts: 8 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | ![]() Hi I have a 2007 punto 1242 8v and both front electric windows are not working the car will not start not cranking and the main 30amp fuse in engine fuse box has no power ,no power at starter connection immobilizer ligt on constantly ,Just been diagnosied as body control module fault quoted £478 from fiat can get ecu body module and door barrels off a comparable model for£140 is it possible to fit

All that being said, are you sure it's not a problem with the wiring , or as simple as another fuse? Did you have some diagnostic equipment on it? something like MES? Can you connect to the ECUs? I have spent to much on garages and dealers diagnostics to find out it was not the problem. and i could cure my problems with 1 washer!

Posts: 8 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 ![]() | ![]() all fuses checked out except 2 main fuses in eng fusebox which garage said would not show power because immobilzer activated to starter also no power going to starter .All wiring checked and ok diagnostic came up with body control module fault also spoke to fiat dealer and apparently systems immobilzer light on constantly , both electric windows not working and heating gauge flashing up to high and coming back to normal are systematic of body control unit packing in
