.. but can't work out with model behaves like a full automatic.
This includes the Panda too.
The Gocompare comparator site lists the duologic as a manual?
Anyone help please?

Its an automated manual which means you drive it like an auto but the technology is more like a manual. You can Drive it on an auto licence.

You'll find driving a Dualogic gearbox a very different experience to the Speedgear. You will actually feel the gear changes -- as if you did them yourself: although perfectly, every time...! -- as there's a little robot (actually an actuator) physically changing cogs for you; whereas, of course, the Speedgear is CVT, and as smooth as whipped cream....

Unless it has some form of hill holder, it also rolls back, when stationary, on a slope: so you have to learn to use the handbrake again, as well...!

I love my Speedgear Punto tremendously; but the Dualogic gearbox in the Panda (and 500) is still something of a modern miracle, as far as I'm concerned...! (y)

Got one . 6 speed semi -auto . It's superb, almost reads my mind when to change . I have hand controls which give a creep tick over unless I apply the hand operated foot brake, when the revs drop to below creep speed. I know some have had problems with these gear boxes but also have a Panda Dualogic too and that's great as well , but as only 5 speed tends to change a little slower.
