Hey all,

Has anyone got just a sports back box fitted to a T Jet? The exhaust note on mine is non existent so want it slightly louder. Got a quote on stainless fit but it's £400 :(
Just want to know if anyone has done anything like what I'm after?

Cheers

I went to powerflow and had this made up for my t-jet.

It is just a stainless steel pipe (no boxes) welded onto the t-jets standard centre section.
Cost me about 80 or 90 quid and it sounds beautiful.
Quiet when you want it to be and when you put your foot down its got a lovely growl.
It also pops sometimes if you change gear at the right time!
It sounds crap in videos tho.
Ill have to try and get a better one.

I got a full stainless cat back exhaust custom made for my T-Jet for £325 at Tony Banks in Leeds.

Got the centre silencer removed and chose to have a back box. I got 2 1/4 inch pipe as well. I'd say get a full cat back exhaust as you'll see performance gains as well as better noise than just a back box especially on a T-Jet.

Mate, what size are the outlets? Twin 80mm?

I got a full cat back system to my t jet sport i went to tony banks im please with it cost 358 with a 10 year garuentee not bad considering it was only my down pipe that had snapped but its a dealer only part and with gaskets it was 224 before fitting!

What are the results of putting it on a diesel?
I've got an M'Jet, but assuming that I wouldn't get much growl at all?
:yum:

Any advice is welcome - sorry for piggybacking onto this thread :D:D:D

It does make a difference, more of a base note on the diesels and just like Sweex said, quiet when you want and more roar when you boot it :D

Reuuk can you measure for this lad please?

Are we on about the tips here? If so there 3" per exit.

Edit; got to go ikea now so I'll get a picture up with a tape measure
