No factory tint isnt 5%. Tint % is the amount of light coming through. Therefore 5% is very dark n actually limo black.

Legally the front window can b no more 75% n front sides can b no more than 70%.

Factory tint is close to or at these figures

If i recall correctly Windows are marked as1 (windscreen) or as2 (front sides) as1 must allow at least 75% light transmission as2 at least 70% other windows can be tinted as dark as you like although you must declare it to insurers and you will probably have to pay extra premium

Theres no arguement mate its illegal the police could be from anywhere in the country its still an illegal tint as i found out, yes its fairly light as why i got it but still got dined 1 fine in 4 years but its still illegal your completely missing the point fam a lam
