So then guys !

Any of you found a petrol that is good for mpg or seems to be better than any others ?

Interested as ive got a couple of lkng trips yo Scotland coming up :)

Doesn't matter worth a jot in our cars mate. Whatever MPG gains (completely minimal, if any) super unleaded or BP ultimate or whatever give you they will be completely swallowed up by the extra price, if not exceeded by a huge margin. You'll end up well out of pocket.

Just drive with a feather foot. :)

Thats the problem ;) my foot is made purely of lead !

+1 to what magic johnson said. Iv recently done a round trip from liverpool to Edinburgh, managed to average just under 60mpg and that was with a feather foot, cruse controll and the shame of being over taken by dawoo matiz's but did manage to conserve some fuel.

Sorry I don't no how to start a new topic I just would like some help if anyone can?

I want to know how to turn off my passages side air bag on my fiat grande punto sporting! Please!!!

Hold the menu button on the dash ! And the press up and down until you see pass abg oon the menu and then select off, itll ask you to confirm twice !

I have tryed that and on my menu button there is no setting saying Pass abg! Would it be under something else or is there another way to turn it off

Try it with the ignition on but engine off, might be the only way.

Also, on-topic, I've tried most diesels from Asda's cheapest to Shell's best, all identical mpg/performance! Just go for the cheapest :)

But very expensive ;) does it actually improve anything, bare in mind its a 1.2

It only works out at an extra £3/4 a tank, so imo its worth it! :)

And im not sure youll feel much of a difference in a 1.2, it maybe will feel a bit smoother, but it will be better for your engine in the long run. I definitely notice the difference in my t-jet! :)

I wont put anything but shell v-power nitro+ in my car because imo its the best fuel you can buy. But others will tell you it makes no difference so its really up to you! :)

I'm with Elliott on this one. For a 1.2 I'd say its pointless, t-jet might feel a bit smoother (never bothered with super in my t-jet) I only use vpower in the abarth, think it makes it bit smoother t doesn't do much. Only reason I get it is it makes the backfires from the zaust more 'pronounced' but I may be dreaming! Other than that it may clear some internals a bit better but not worth the extra cost imo. £1.46.9 in Cambridgeshire!

I must say that I do once a month or once every 6 weeks stick £20.00 worth in the tank just to keep things clean but I must admit that the car is smoother on the more expensive juice such as v-power!

1.4 16v Sporting T-Jet

=

Noticeably smoother on Vpower Nitro+

+3-4MPG on Average

AND

1.4 / 1.2 8v Active / Sport

=

Fook all.

End.

so it doesn't help clean the engine then? I can seriously feel a difference when I use the more expensive stuff especially since I put the induction kit on may be its just a placebo then!
