Hi I have a 57 punto grande sporting 1.4 Tjet and I seem to be getting power loss alot... I put my foot down and nothing for what seems forever then off you go but it's not always like this?.?... Sometimes it's great constant power on demand. I am going to install a custom intake soon and looking at changing turbo and remap any ideas would be great cheers

My turbo kicks in just after 2000rpm,I'm sure I've found it to be much more powerful on a cooler day though!

So long as your above about 2000rpm the turbo should be on boost. The small turbo on a t-jet doesn't lag much so there shouldn't be a noticeable delay when you floor it.

Sounds like theres something wrong to me, as said it should boost from 2000rpm and there is barely any lag as its such a small turbo

Me thinks something is wrong with it too... Drive to work this morning absolutely flawless plenty off turbo goodness but it's happened to many times now I plant my foot and nothing not even a bit off movement just a big pause then finally after prob five or more seconds power but by that time what ever I am trying to over take has just under taken me because of waiting for the dam thing to give me some power lol not sure if turbo is on way out or where to even begin fault finding as I have no error codes to begin with? Any help would be gratefully received will add my car and all mods and some pics to members motors shortly
