Hi, I have a 1.9 mjet sporting diesel and I eventually want to get it remapped but I've seen threads saying it blows the turbo, any more info on this would be great, I'd love to have it running about 160/165 bhp if possible, also I was wondering if there is any sort of dump valve or blow off valve that you can get for my car because I can't seem to find any

Diesels are not vacuum like petrol cars, so cant get a dv, my turbo blew standard, if your only looking at that power youll be fine, and a tuning box should get you to that, fuelings a lot better with a remap however

Sorry to sound like an idiot but what's a tuning box and what you mean the fuellings better? Do you mean it does more mpg, thanks mate

Some people say tht the tuning boxes overfuel the car so a maps better to get it correct, few ive seen have been fine my mate had one on for 3 years, tuning box is a little gadget that plugs in between your common rail and tricks the car into added more fuel for combustion, people may be able to add to this or elaborate more, there widely available online

Put a GDR induction kit on it mate sounds better than a dump valve

I got a 1.9 gp mate remapped like 6 months ago running 170 bhp turbo seems okay just look after it Cool it down probably and warn the car up tidy mine pulls like a train mate

Ahh sounds good, I've found a place called Celtic tuning that can get it to 186 now so I'm looking at that depending If they have any workshops in northwest haha

We started making them for 1.6 now. If there would really be interest in the 1.9 mjets, then we can offer them as well.

I personally design my own but if the price was right im sure a few on here would invest start a thread about a possible group buy
