I am not sure a touch up would work well mate, I would take it to local body shop and paint specialist and ask them for your options, they might be able to build it up and then paint it as it looks down to the metal mate?

Yeah it is right down to the bone
Is the paint pretty bad on Puntos mate?
TBH Yeh its quite thin in places so I have found out anyways but may be others can tell of their experiences

I reckon fiat should just give mine a full respray and I'll promise them I'll look after it

No thinner than most modern cars tbh.
i'd just get a touch up and very carefully lay the paint into the defect building the level up and being very very careful not to get it on the surrounding paint

I've already had a bit of trouble with the paint on this panel bear the wheel arch, so I might look into replacing the whole panel with a red one... Any idea of the cost of doing this please?
