Another chapter to my lovely "reliable" car

Coming home from shopping today and the check engine light came up and the text showed on my car.

ive had problems with the cooling system aswell, but anyway when I glanced at the dashboard the temperature gauge was right at the bottom aswell(it is never that low).

ive just recently had the water pump changed so wondering if I got a problem with the timing belt or its just a simple ignition/exhaust problem.

I need get hold of a OBDII scanner to see what it is before I take to a garage and get ripped off.

Was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem?

The check engine light covers a huge number of problems - some major but some very minor.
It's worth reading the fault codes before making any assumptions.
