Getting my brakes done today if they can fit me in at the garage or tomorrow as the pads and disks are quite worn indeed. At the minute there seems to be a hell of a lot of brake dusts other wheels considering it was only cleaned last weekend. I believe it to be because the disks are gripping the pads and causing the brakes to stick on very slightly (gripping in the worn in groove in the disk just to be clear)

I'm hoping this will stop as I'm getting pads and disks changed. So any insight is greatly received

P. S do the rear brakes usually need doing at the same time or at different intervals

Sam.

Front brakes generally get more wear than rear ones.
It's not required that they are changed at the same time, only if they are worn.

Discs cost about £35-£45 per pair, pads around £25 per set.
Labour about 30 - 45 mins per side.
So I'd say £136 isn't too bad, especially considering £23.00 of that is VAT

It's the labour, i don't like paying for.
