I attempted to buy a badgeless grill from FK auto but they don't have stock, and they said 6-8 weeks before delivery, is there anywhere else reputable that I can get a plain grill for my Grande punto in a shorter amount of time, or does anyone have one (clips intact) that they could sell to me?

Many thanks,
Lewis

I've had that one on order for 10 days or so now.
FK keep sending me emails, apologising for it not being in stock.

Todays email would intimate that they will automatically cancel my order after 2 weeks if they can't fulfill it.

That's the one I purchased, but they said its out of stock, ill just hold off for a bit, don't want to get a second hand one though really, cause its easy to snap the clips

I got mine from a FF member through the classifieds, The clips are only easy to snap if you take a 'Gung-ho' method of getting the old grille out.. Take an hour or so and take the bumper off and take it out from behind, will save you damaging the clip points on the bumper so the New grille will be un-stealable and will sit right in the recess.

These should be in stock..

I've ordered the fk grill the one at £12 and they've emailed me saying it will be dispatched within 24 hours :S

Yup.
I had one of those emails also, but then 4 days later another email apologising that it's out of stock, and that they are doing everything they can, blah, blah, blah.

Then another 5 days later to say that they are still doing all they can, but if they can't then they will cancel the order after 14 days.

I guess my 14 days are up this week, and that my order will be cancelled.

Incidentally, if you look on the FK website, you'll notice that although it doesn't say "out of stock", but it doesn't say "In Stock" either.

Clips only snap if your an absolute tool taking them off, or maybe a tad unlucky. I took mine off with the bumper attatched and gentle persuasion. Bit of grunt here 'n' there, but generally took my time. No clips broken, also - i bought the grill of a fellow FF member. Absolutely nothing wrong with buying one second hand, its a bit of black plastic at the end of the day...

Suppose I will have a look on the classifieds, my bottom grill is superglued in so I don't even care if do the same for the top one.

Story behind that is I took it out and couldn't put it back -superglue to the rescue :)

I've had one on order since 25th June, but have only had the 'trying to source' email. Looks like I may have to stump up the £35 instead
