First question, where can I get the screws to hold the air filter in place?

Second thing, I have rust!! Is this bad? Rust can never be good!! (near the middle bottom of the pic)

You mean on the engine mount? I wouldn't worry, it will only be a bit of surface discolouration. That looks like a cast part, it won't have had any anti-rust treatment but will have been made from a grade of steel with a high resistance to rusting. I'll bet if you scrubbed it with a wire brush it'd come up like new.
 
Aye mine is the same, if I was selling it I'd probably give it a scrub.

haha it is it looks ridiculous. Old guy cameup to me not long ago saying "wow looks like you look after your car, what's under the bonnet then, bet it's something monstrous"...well no not really haha, if it wasn't for the air filter you could use it as a boot.

Speaking of merlin engines, I saw one fired up this weekend. Was an absolute beast...going off topic now though lol
